More details to this question:
My son was arrested a few days ago in Virginia on Robbery charges. He was driving the car on 2 different occassions when his friends asked him to stop the car so the can confront another kid. the first time one of his friends to the kids hat the next he took his phone. My son did not take anything and was denied bond bc the victim father stated the kid is scared if they get out they will attack him again. Please advise on how to fight this, chances of it getting reduced or dismissed. this was just a high school quarrel that on parent took to the police to solve vice the other parents.

1 ANSWER

Robbery is an extremely serious charge and you need to speak with an attorney as soon as possible, whether that attorney is appointed by the Court or hired by you or your son.  The short answer is that it is certainly possible for a charge of robbery to be reduced but whether that will happen depends on many factors that an attorney would have to investigate.  An attorney will investigate those facts and speak with police and prosecutors and witnesses and represent your son in Court.  That process needs to begin as soon as possible.
