QUESTION

Will these 3 misdemeanors fall off his record eventually so he can get a decent job?

More details to this question:
Two are for bad checks and one for petty larceny. It has been 10 years this year since the occurrences. He is always honest in every application and interview. We keep hearing the same things over and over. They get back his background check, even after they've been warned upfront about the misdemeanors, and turn him down because of it. It's becoming very disheartening. Is there anything we can do to get these removed, will they fall off eventually, or will it continue to haunt him forever more? Thank you for any help you may be able to give us.

Absent expungement, which in WI would have had to have been granted at the time of sentencing, or a pardon, which Governor Walker will not currently grant, convictions are permanent, as is the resulting criminal record.
