With being found not guilty, what course might I take to get the charge removed from my record?

More details to this question:
I was arrested for a domestic violence based on a witness statement to police. The witness stated that he saw everything that happened. Under oath at trial, the witness testimony changed to state that he turned away from his window and didn't see what actually happened. Do I have any value in pursuing a civil suit?
You can seal your arrest from public view. There are forms at the Colorado Supreme Court website. You can hire me to do it. $2000 As for the civil case, it depends. Did the witness tell this to police and they failed to put it in the report? If so, you have nothing against the witness, but maybe the police. At the end of the day, your case is not worth very much and so you would have to pay a lawyer to do it - rather than have a lawyer work on contingency. I am not sure you want to pay $10,000 to have a chance at getting $5000-10,000 back. Damages are only so big here.
