Would taking a pain pill such as hydrocodone effect a DUI breathalyzer reading?

More details to this question:
I was charged with an OWI with at least .15%. Taking a pain pill of 7.5 hydrocodone would that have an effect on the breathalyzer performance or readings?

It would make your driving worse if mixed with alcohol.

No, because a breathalyzer only measures alcohol.

No, but the prosecutor will argue that the combination of drugs and alcohol made you even more impaired.

I am not aware of hydrocodone affecting the results of a breathalyzer test. However, even if it did, this wouldn't be a very wise defense to use for your DUI charge, as you can also be charged with a DUI for driving under the influence of drugs other than alcohol.
