Would the judge remove the no contact order?

More details to this question:
My husband got arrested for child abuse due to a hard punch on his stepson's nose. He has not had a criminal record before. If he did, the Housing Authority would not allow him to live with his wife. The judge ordered a no contact order on him until further notice. When will the order be removed? He has a daughter that has autism.

"My husband"? "His wife"? If it is your husband, shouldn't the question state that he would not be allowed to live with me? Please repost with clarity and maybe the question can be answered.
