Only a local attorney can determine if you are judgment proof.  If you are unable to afford an attorney there are options available for indigent people.  Many consumer rights attorneys offer a free initial consultation, and can determine if you are judgment proof.  Also, every state has various local and state legal aid clinics you can contact for legal help. This is not intended to be legal advice, and is general in its nature. No attorney-client relationship exists or is formed by this information. Furthermore, this does not represent the views or opinions of LexisNexis or its affiliated companies.
