Assistance with Creditor

More details to this question:
Received a collections notice for a charge I did not make. Had a friend visiting and she made a purchase with shopnbc and had it delivered to my home. She paid for it under her shopnbc account, received the item, and owed 4 remaining payments. She lost her job was unable to pay and since it was shipped to my house they are coming after me instead of her. I only let her ship it to my home, never had possession of the item. The debit collector will not remove it from my credit and said I should pay it for her. I have the receipt that states she made the first payment, and also proof showing it was under her account. The item was left on the door and nobody signed for it although she did take possession of the item. I need help with taking care of this.
