More details to this question:
My bank account was garnished. I made payment arrangements with the collection company at court when they sued me and established an agreement that I have now found was not entered into the court documents and they still obtained a judgement. The payments were taken directly out of my account by the collection company. They stopped taking the payments out in January and then obtained a writ to garnish me. When I called them they stated they tried to contact me twice in the past 4 months. That the person who had my account retired and the new person needed to talk to me to continue the arrangements and that's why they stopped withdrawing the payments. What are my options to get my money back, seeing that I didn't stop paying them, they just stop taking the money.

I am sorry, but the cost and hassle of fighting over this is almost certainly not worth it. If the difference between the agreed payment amount and the amount garnished is great, you could try filing a motion to reinstate the payment plan and explain the situation to the judge. It will be very difficult to get anything done directly with the collection folks, I am afraid. Good Luck.
