QUESTION

Can I sue Sallie Mae?

Asked on Dec 09th, 2013 on Debtor and Creditor - New York
More details to this question:
I have been given the incorrect information by SUPERVISORS at Sallie Mae. As a result I am now delinquent on my loans and the delinquency has been reported to credit for both myself and my parents (co-signers). I was told this would be retracted once the situation got straightened out. Well the supervisor was incorrect in what she told me and basically said there is nothing that can be done. Do I have any recourse?

You may sue and so long as you can establish the prima facie basis for a cause of action you may advance the litigation.
