QUESTION

Condo Association Won't Let Me Settle My Debts

Asked on Jul 25th, 2016 on Debtor and Creditor - Florida
More details to this question:
Long story short, condo association said I owe them for missed association fees going back to 2010. (Florida) They kept piling on the late fees every month since 2010. I use bank auto/bill pay system. I asked for exact dates and I have proof of payment for all dates except for one. Around the time the management changed hands. I offered to pay the missed payment. They say I owe for all the late fees and missed payment. I have not missed a payment since. In fact I pay early before the 1st of each month which has lead to confusion on their part as to which month I am paying. I spoke to them in person and left them a letter saying "In writing provide a break down of my final debts owed and amount to bring my accounts current." They refuse verbally to do so and ignore my emails. Currently - my access to the amenities are cut off- key fobs deactivated. Damaging value of my condo and inhibiting my ability to rent it. How do I demand my debts be enumerated and settled?

Declaring you are right and don't owe them is not the standard as they seem to disagree. You will likely need to retain a lawyer and either convince them or a judge that you are correct and get this resolved.
