More details to this question:
my employer just informed me that they have a court order to garnish my wages from a default judgment that was issued on 07/01/2010 and just served on my employer on 03/16/2017 from a county in which I do not live, the plaintiff listed on the court order is a company called midland funding to which I have never heard

You need to contact the clerk of the court to find out the information on the garnishment.
