How can I collect a judgement awarded to me?

Hello, Several years ago I was awarded a judgement in Small Claims Court, in New York. The information out there about how to actually get your judgement paid to you is very confusing. What do I legally have the right to do and what should be my first step? thank you!

If in New York City, you need to call a Marshal. You will need a copy of the judgment.
