How can I get a debt of over $5,000 paid back

More details to this question:
My friend and I booked a cruise last October. She said she would get her share from her 401k a d pay me back. We have returned. She keeps stalling and now says she does t have the money. She has a lot more than I do.

Sounds like you now know the reason she has more money than you do. If she won't pay it back voluntarily, you will need to decide whether its worth invsting more money in a lawyer to file suit to try and recover the money.
