How do I collect on a judgement for $2000.00 awarded in 2012.

I hired a painter to paint a two bedroom condo and repair a ceiling. He worked evenings from May 5, 2012 to Sept 4, 2012. He was later fired by the management firm hired by the condo board. I am a senior, alone, and in the care of the cancer center at U of R undergoing chemo therapy. The work was so sloppy, I was hospitalized for a week with dust pneumonia. This guy was not a painter but a scam artist who took advantage of me.
