More details to this question:
i loaned an ex bf $15,ooo.00 and he refuses to pay. he is a true con artist and i have since learned he has conned many and never repaid. i also served and hosted at his now closed restaurant and was not paid for 3 weeks work. i worked 73 hrs a week. he also took out 2 credit cards out under the restaurant name, and said one was for me to use because i had supported him financially for a few months.wheni voice verified he tried to take the phone away because i asked the person if what he said was true, that I was NOT responsible for this card, she said YES you are, he had put me down as the primary name. he had my ss# from my work application. a week later, same thing another card he tried to scam me of.e is saying iy was a business loan, that i was an investor. untrue! he also stole my home depot bill and kept the bills. i just now 5 months after leaving him received a bill for $602.00 he incurred plus $200.00 o in interest and fines. my card even says ask for id! how can i rectify?

A correspondence needs to be forwarded to your ex boyfriend. In the event, no progress is made you can cut your losses and move on or file a lawsuit. If you file a lawsuit against the boyfriend and in the event you obtain a judgment, you have to collect on it.  The primary question is does he have any assets?
