I need a lawyer for small claims court

More details to this question:
I loaned a family member 1000.00 dollars to fix his car. He said he would pay back in 2 weeks it's now 12 weeks . He hasn't made any desire to pay at all . He keeps changing the date to pay the loan , but lies. I Live in NY he lives in Florida.

Small claims court is designed to not have lawyers.  You can have one, but the cost will be more than the claim.  If he is in FL, you should sue there.
