Is this fraud?

Asked on Nov 01st, 2021 on Debtor and Creditor - Michigan
More details to this question:
For the past 6 years me and my dad have been taking out student loans. He is the cosigner. Because I go to a school out of state and he's not best with technology some of the loans have been signed by me for him by his verbal permission. Now fast forward years later he's telling me if I don't pay if I miss a payment, then he will report me for fraud and say that he didn't agree to anything. But he's been getting monthly letters each month for the past six years from the loan companies and has never reported anything. But he has been giving me legit verbal permission and agreement for all of this

When your dad had you sign his name with permission, you acted as he his Attorney-in-Fact and he is bound by the agreement and is jointly and severally liable with you for the loans.
