Small claims Suit

More details to this question:
What do you do when someone files a suit against you but you are not that person, this other person took money in advance for not doing lawn service & I am a graphic designer but we both have the same name, so the person file the suit found my address in the phone book & filed a suit against me not the person who owns the lawn service

You should appear at the small claims hearing and explain to the judge that the wrong person has been sued.  The person who sued you will be there and will see that they sued the wrong person.  If you do not appear to contest the claim, a judgment may be entered against you.
