If the judgment was recorded in the public records, it should have the name and address of the creditor somewhere in the judgment, and not just the name of the law firm. If the law firm won't respond, contact the creditor.Also, you can look up the name of the attorney (or any Florida attorney) at the Florida Bar Web Site, www.flabar.org. This will give you the attorney's current contact information. Even if he or she has moved to a new law firm, the attorney may be able to get you in touch with the right person.
Finally, if you want to pay off the judgment in full but cannot get a response from the Plaintiff, there is a procedure where you can pay the judgment in full to the Clerk of the Court. The Clerk holds the money for the Plaintiff, and gives you a Satisfaction. (I've never heard of anyone actually doing this, though.) If the Plaintiff never collects the money, I think it ends up going to the State.
