In order to stop the collections calls from coming, you need to draft a letter to the collections agency stating that they may no longer contact you.  Should the collection agency continue, you need to look into reporting the agency to state and federal consumer protection agencies. This is not intended to be legal advice, and is general in its nature. No attorney-client relationship exists or is formed by this information. Furthermore, this does not represent the views or opinions of LexisNexis or its affiliated companies.
