Update Your Profile
One of the first things you should do is check your credit report. Identity thieves will often use bits and pieces of your information along with their own. If you see names, addresses, or accounts you have never heard of, that's a red flag. You can go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action to see your credit report for free.  For a brief overview of how to proceed can be found here: http://www.dps.texas.gov/DriverLicense/idtheft/idtheft2.htm Clearing your good name after identity theft is a daunting task. Please consider contacting a local attorney to assist you in this matter.
