My wife was seved a suponea by her employer albany medical center for a unpaid mri that our son had for a dislocated shoulder...the person entered the infromation wrong and the insurance didn't pay th bill...the insurance which happened to be albany med preffered choice paid for the emergency room visit the surgery the aftercare...we received a bill and my wife called and they said they would resubmit it and never did...my wife contacted everybody she was suppose to and was told that because it was over a year ago that we are responsible for $1600...

For $1600, do this yourself. You have a defense. File an answer in the time required to avoid default. Your defense is that insurance was accepted and should have paid.
