Won case 4 years ago lawyer hasn't collected?

More details to this question:
Been four years every time I call he doesn't answer. I restricted my number from showing than he answered. He now says he's sent it to sheriffs only six months ago. I ask him but if now only sent six months why is it still even taking that long now. Ihe told me don't worry Alan's is there are any uPdates he'll call . How can I check if he really has it at sheriffs and is he has collected I dont trust him. Can I file a comPlaint against him for this ? How can I get updates on collection?

This is upsetting to hear. You should be receiving regular reports from your lawyer or at least responses to your inquiries. Judgment enforcement proceedings often do move slowly and it may take years to locate attachable assets. If you are not satisfied with the way your lawyer is treating you as a client you should discuss this with him. If you are not comfortable with his response then I would suggest you find another lawyer.
