What do I do if my husband is living in another country and I have not heard from him in 20 years?

Yes. As long as you meet the 6 month residency requirement in Florida, your marriage can be dissolved. You will need to conduct a diligent search for your Husband's address and publish in the newspaper. There are some forms of related relief, such as alimony, that the Court may not be able to grant, but it can enter the divorce itself.

Hire an attorney to do the divorce for you. This is a bit complicated, but as long as you are not seeking any support, you can probably publish in the local newspaper and get a divorce.

You have to try to locate him first then if you cannot you can publish notice per Florida Statute Chapter 49.
