QUESTION

Do I need to file something to ask for default, what form and what do I do?

Asked on Jul 28th, 2014 on Divorce - Michigan
More details to this question:
I filed for divorce and my spouse already been properly served with the summons and complaints. If he failed to answer within 21 days, I know that it can be entered as default. We don't have children and no properties. I don't ask for spouse support. Thank you.

You must file an application of default judgment, and would be wise to at least confer with an attorney on the forms and procedures.
