Does my marriage license have to mention previous marriage?

We have not told her parents about a previous marriage and don't want to.

Your marriage license will make no reference to your prior marriage.

No. Your marriage license documents your current marriage only.

That question can only be answered by the office in your state that is responsible for issuing marriage licenses.

Yes, you have to list prior marriages on the application. The license does not.

Although an application for a marriage license will require disclosure of prior marriages (and confirmation of divorce/etc.), the license itself will not reflect any prior marriages.

This information will not show up on your marriage license, even if the county clerk asks about previous marriages.

Check with your County registrars office. You will have to disclose it but I'm unsure whether its on the license itself. Life has a way of catching up with us.
