How can a divorce date be moved forward once a date has already been served?

A court is generally free to reschedule matters. If the change works a hardship on you, contact the court (with copy to your spouse's lawyer) and ask that it not be rescheduled to 31 March.

If what do you mean is how the date scheduled to be in court can be moved all you need to do is request a continuance of the judge. Be certain to include a valid reason for your request. Good luck.
