Most courts have a "self help center" where you can get assistance from a lawyer filling out divorce forms. There are do-it-yourself forms for almost everything you need in divorce and for a small fee you can get a lawyer to assist you in completing the forms. The lawyer will not represent you in court, but will assist in completing the forms. In addition if you qualify there are various legal service organizations in most cities. The normal requirmenet is that you have below a certain specified income level.
