How can I get temporary spousal support just until I can move out?

More details to this question:
I make $11.00 an hour, 40 hours a week. He is a severe alcoholic and mental abuser. He up and left taking his pay check and left me with his daughter who of course is my step-daughter.

I would suspect that you would be able to get both temporary spousal and child support (as you are watching his child) during the pendency of your divorce action.

Spousal support orders are based on an equalization of both parties' incomes.

In my experience, your only options are to file for divorce on the fault ground while still living together in hopes the Court will take jurisdiction and grant temporary relief which is going to include ordering one of you to move out or you can file for an Order of Protection if truly you and/or the child are in danger.
