How do you respond when served with divorce papers in jail?

More details to this question:
A friend was served divorce papers when he arrived at the County detention center. He is being held without bond until his hearing on October 9. How does he respond to her complaint in his position? Thanks.

The same way he would do it if he weren't in jail. He answers each allegation as true and false and sends the original to the court and a copy to the wife or her attorney.

He retains an attorney who can prepare the proper response. If a court appearance is necessary the courts usually grant inmate right to appear in court to represent his side on issues. The attorney will assist.
