If we are still married, isn’t it still his obligation to support me?

More details to this question:
My husband kicked me out of the house. I came to my mom’s house and my husband wants to divorce me now. The problem is, he doesn’t not want to get the divorce papers until the income taxes. What can I do? I lost my job, he kicked me out and he keeps all my things. He wants to split the furniture.

You should consult a family law attorney to advise you as to your right to support and an equal property division.

He has an obligation to at least pay temporary support. You need a lawyer or go to your local self-help clinic.
