Is there a free help for a divorce?

More details to this question:
I have no money and only have my home I share with my wife and cannot afford to move. I want to find out how I can start a separation and divorce with none to little cost. Help. I want out.

You can start with a visit to the Self Help Desk near you to get some very general information. You can also look at the self help online information available. However, if you own real property together, you really should at least visit with a lawyer about your specific facts.

You can try the County Legal Aid office but you should expect to get what you pay for. Usually they only help women but sometimes they will help males.

You could try Legal Aid or your local bar association sometimes has a list of Pro Bono attorneys.
