QUESTION

Is this a situation in which the judge would likely order permanent alimony?

Asked on Jan 27th, 2013 on Divorce - California
More details to this question:
I live in California. I am an engineer making $140K a year. My ex-wife to be is a student, who has no means of support, has MS and is able to walk with the use of a cane. The divorce is being initiated because she no longer wants to live with me as roommates rather than as husband and wife. If so, what amount would that be?
