I'm not sure what you mean by 'registration'. In order to divorce you (or your spouse) file a petition and then the other party must be served. If you were served, you would have a 'case number' and know in which court the divorce was filed.
It is very important in any divorce procedure that you either receive from the court the stamped judgment with the date of the divorce or you go to the court to get it. I'm not sure why this was not done and why so much time has passed.
At this date, the only option is to go to the court to try to see if there is any record--it may be in archives. If you do not find any and cannot speak with your spouse (to get proof of divorce) then you most likely should assume the divorce was never completed. In this case, you would have to start all over again.
