QUESTION

Should we get lawyers?

Asked on Mar 06th, 2016 on Divorce - Georgia
More details to this question:
My husband and I are seeking a divorce, we've come to an agreement on custody and how much he will pay in child support and alimony. He will be paying 1200 a month to me in child support and alimony combined, (that's for 3 children). I will retain custody and he will be able to see them whenever he can.

It is always a good idea to have an attorney work with you on legal documents. Some attorneys will offer document production or document review services. Be sure to get a description of your legal services and the fee in writing at the start. I highly recommend that you at least have someone review your documents given that there are minor children and child support is involved. You need to ensure the documents are properly completed for the best interests of the minor children. Christine@Bechtold-Law.com
