I filed divorce in Ulster County and spouse was served on Jan 10th and the court told me to send a self addressed envelope since it was all completed but, by spouse sent a letter that she hired an attorney and now they want me to appear in court? I live in Florida for the past year do I have to appear? is their a way to do this from here?

Who is 'they"? If the court orders your appearance you have to appear, and probably should get an attorney.
