Was I still married until the judge finalized my divorce?

Asked on Jul 09th, 2015 on Divorce - California
More details to this question:
I filed for divorce in December 2005, but we did not go before the judge to finalize it until November 2011. Was I considered still married between Dec. 2005 - Nov. 20, 11 or Feb 2012, when it was noted on this date to be final ?

Yes. You might need the judgment to terminate marital status "nunc pro tunc" (inferiority complex language for "retroactively"). You might be able to amend it to do so.
