Even though the assets may be in your husband's name, if they are truly marital assets, you are entitled to an equitable division of them. You may also be entitled to spousal support or at least enough to pay the necessary bills. You should contact an attorney without delay. If you cannot afford an attorney, check to see if there is a legal aid office in your community. Legal aid may be able to help you.

If you have no access to financial support you need to go apply for aide. If you receive cash aide the state will open a case against your husband to establish support orders for child support. The state will not assist you with spousal support. You are entitled to half of all assets acquired during your marriage. If you can't afford an attorney you can go see the court facilitator's office and they will provide you with forms and help for no cost. You need to file a request for orders for custody, visitation, child support and spousal support.

You don't have any "rights" that mean anything until you file for divorce and get rights and responsibilities established as part of ending the marriage.

Contact the legal aid society and get a lawyer. You need help, and this is likely not a lawsuit you could properly prosecute.
