What can I do if my husband filed my taxes without me knowing and forged my name and spent the money?

We have been separated for 8 months. He picked my tax papers up from h and r block took them to his step-mom and they filed online without me knowing.

File for divorce and ask for your half back as part of the divorce settlement. You may also want to report him to the IRS.

You can do several things. First, you can file a complaint with the IRS. Second, you can file a criminal complaint with the local police/sheriff. Third, you can sue H and R Block for releasing your papers to someone other than you.
