What can I do to get the car that he stole?

More details to this question:
We got married on March 28, 2015. After his verbal abuse and emotional abuse, I have filed for divorce on July 28, 2015. He then said that he do not want the divorce because he wants to do right by me and wants to save the marriage. Well, he manipulated me and I allow him to come back in my house. He then stole the car, with other property that is in the car which are confidential and it belongs to the housing authority.

1. Report the car as stolen. 2. File a motion with the family judge to have the car returned to you. Use of a lawyer is recommended.
