Depending on the facts of your situation, you may be able to file a motion for rehearing or reconsideration if it has been less then 10 days since the judge's ruling was issued, or you may be able to file an appeal if it has been less than 30 days since the judge's ruling was rendered. If the ruling was issues by a hearing officer or general magistrate, you may be able to file exceptions or a motion to vacate if it has been less than 10 days since the report and recommendations was issued. Consult with an attorney to discuss the specifics of your situation and your options.

You had an attorney. That person already knows the facts and you should ask him or her what to do at this stage.

If that is the case, you could consider one of three approaches: (1) have your attorney make a motion for reconsideration, presenting contrary evidence that was not considered, (2) file an appeal or, (3) get a new attorney. Good luck.
