i am a stay at home mom and have no income but i still need to get a divorce because my marriage is jsut getting ugly and traumatizing.if i need a divorce who will pay the fee , for my children and my housing. I will start working maybe in march and am under a process for city job,though not sure how much income will come in but in the mean time i need to know how will i manage. will i be able to get custody of my children 9 and 10.5.to whom i have been the sole caretaker.

If your spouse has the money he will be required to pay your legal fees. How much the divorce will cost depends upon two things: how much fighting there is over custody and the division of assets and/or debts and upon the hourly rate of the attorney you hire.
