What would be the best way to get an uncontested divorce? How much will it cost?

I will do it for 500 plus costs we can apply to the clerk to waive the costs.

The filing fee is slightly over $400. A reasonable attorney's fee is around $1500, although some do local ones for half of that. The first thing to do is set up an appointment with an attorney who will do uncontested divorces. The problem is that if the parties do not agree upon just one of the many issues that must be resolved, it can turn into a contested divorce which costs many thousands more.

If you have no children, no real estate and neither party is seeking alimony the cheapest is to contact a Paralegal Service in your area. If the answer to any of the above then I would strongly recommend an attorney. Cost depends on your area of residence and the anticipated time involved.
