If you got a status judgement then it is final. If it is still awaiting signature, you will not be single until the Judge signs the judgement.

Your dissolution is not final until you receive the Notice of Entry of Judgment, FL-190, which will show when the Judgment was entered and the date that it becomes final.

The courts are horribly backlogged. The California State budget has reduced the funding for the courts. Courtrooms have been closed. If you are in a rush to get remarried you might call the courtroom clerk in the department you have been assigned. He or she should be able to give you an estimate as to when the paperwork will be processed. You are not divorced until you receive the paperwork from the court indicating that you are no longer married.

You need to file the paperwork with the court to get your judgment after the six months are up to get your divorce. It does not happen by itself.
