Will a man still be responsible for a child support even if it's not his?

More details to this question:
If a man marries his pregnant girlfriend, signs the birth certificate, then later while separated, finds out that the child is not his (through court ordered DNA testing) will he still be responsible for child support?

It would seem to me that no person should be responsible for child support for a child that is NOT his/hers.

Probably not. If there was not yet a child support order in place prior to the DNA test, the Court will not likely issue one now. If there was a child support order already in place, and your husband has now learned that he is not the father by virtue of the DNA test, he would have good grounds to petition the court to disestablish paternity and terminate child support.
