In 1996, I was 19 and got a DUI. The point is that I went to court and for other reasons I had to leave USA and never appeared in court again. The person who bailed me out, called me and informed that I had to pay a fine for my failure. Now I am taking my wife, 2 year old son and an eleven year old child to visit Disney parks. I do not want to have our dream vacation turned into a nightmare. Can I be arrested when I enter US 18 years after the DUI occurred? Important to mention is when I applied for my VISA, the US agent (consul) found out the information that I had been arrested, asked me about it and by telling her truth, she authorized my VISA. What is the most accurate way to find out if there is an outstanding bench warrant? (website) 2) Is it common to get people detained at airports for misdemeanors? 3) How can I solve this issue as I will stay only 15 days? 4) What will TSA agent really care about? (as I will be with my family, will show hotel receipts, park tickets, car rental, cash, credit card and date of my departure/flight ticket) 5) What is the worst that can happen? (I know you will answer immediate detention, but for how long, etc) Many thanks.
