You cannot have your record expunged until you have completed all court mandated punishment. Given that the DUI was less than a week ago, it is all but impossible that all your sentence has been completed, thus you are not eligible yet for an expungement.

No all offenses involving driving are nonexchangeable. You are stuck with it.

No. Traffic related misdemeanors are all in a class of non-expungible offenses. And, a person's driving record is historical from the date a drivers license is issued so, while points may come off your record, whatever you do related to driving remains part of that history.

You will have to try to get it dismissed or win the case at trial.

You can have your DUI 'removed from your record' by fighting and winning your DUI. 90% of first time DUI arrestees are first time arrestees. No one is going to give you anything including removing it from your record unless you fight and force them to do so.

You need to hire a DUI specialist, and do it soon because you have only 10 days to save your license.

A conviction for DUI in Louisiana stays on your record for 10 years and if you get a 2nd DUI within that 10 year period you could be charged as a 2nd offender. If your lawyer can find something in the arrest report that was not done correctly by the police or if the video of the arrest and field sobriety tests does not look bad for you (assuming you did not blow) you may have a chance to have the charge reduced to a lesser offense. A good DUI defense lawyer costs money but the alternative is to plead guilty and face the consequences that go with a DUI conviction.
