Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. The short answer is that depending on the circumstances of the violation and the original charges, the court can impose substantial jail time. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

It's a little tricky to answer because the judge could revoke your probation and re-sentence you for the original offense that you are on probation for or revoke your probation and have you spend the rest of your time behind bars. It will also depend if you are on probation for a felony or misdemeanor.
