Asked on Feb 15th, 2013 on DUI/DWI - Georgia
More details to this question:
My wife was convicted of a DUI in Geogia. She served and was released from federal probation. Court fines were paid. She has a license from Michigan and we recently moved to Florida. She has a suspension from Georgia preventing her from getting a license in Florida. The Reinstatement in Georgia laws state that she needs a 20 hour class, but Florida only offers a 12 hour course. Is there any way around this were I don't have to send her to Georgia to take these classes to meet the time requirement?

If you send me an email at evan@zwdefense.com, I will send you the most up-to-date information from Georgia DDS for these DUI classes done in other states.  It appears that GA accepts a Level 1 (12 hour) or level 2 (21 hour) course from Florida.
