More details to this question:
I got an OVI last night. It was my vehicle but this girl I barely knew was driving because I was drunk and unable to drive. She side swiped another car and then got out and ran and had the keys. When the cops arrived I was sitting in the driver’s seat and they arrested me charged me with OVI, obstruction of police business and failure to control. They never did find the keys and did not believe what I was telling them. Supposedly the driver of the other vehicle seen me driving at least that is what the cop said (maybe trying to get me to admit guilt?) I said really that’s funny I have no keys and its 11:30 at night. The other car was at least 500 feet away if not farther. How is that? I wasn’t driving so I refused to blow. Is this even legal?
